We are very excited to introduce a new feature of our game.![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
daily_prophet is our community where breaking news articles will be published. We feel that this will be a great way to give players plotting ideas! Also, our dark plot will be kicking in sooner rather than later, so it will certainly be a useful tool to keep all characters in the loop. Just to clarify-- the entire Prophet will not be released at once, just certain articles as they come in!
So who wants to help?? We're looking for JOURNALISTS! Would your character like to contribute to certain sections of the paper? Would you like to create a character who is a Prophet Reporter (Colin Creevey anyone? Lee Jordan? Anyone else...)? It would be a lot of fun (and you'd have endless plot opportunities interviewing other characters for articles)! Do you have any roleplaying friends who may be interested?
If you are interested in writing for the Prophet (either as a new character with a reporting career or as a contributor as your own character), please let us know! Personally, I am maxed out on characters but I am sure Hermione would love to contribute to the Ministry section once in a while.
The community will be moderated, so if you have an idea for an article and would like to contribute, let us know before you write it up! It will most likely be approved, but we've got to make sure it will be in line with the vision we have for future plot development.
Here is the working layout of the Prophet; it's certainly open to suggestions!
